Glossary
|
- Internationalization - The process that enables the base domestic product to
support the features required in other languages (e.g. supporting special characters
needed in Japanese, German, Italian, etc.). Note that Internationalization is spelled
Internationalisation in Europe.
Localization - The process of translating
a product's user interface, error messages, help file, install program, read me files,
documentation, collateral, packaging, disk labels, and license agreements to another
language/dialect. Note that Localization is the spelled Localisation in Europe.
