US Patent Office Awards Patent for Multilingual Database Design Method

Mandy Pet with Oracle was awarded  a patent entitled: "Method of Efficiently Storing, Retrieving and Modifying Data in Any Language Representation".

By using this method, a relational database can store character sets and representations in languages other than English.

This method also allows for retrieval of information in different languages, thus you can query a database in any foreign language.
